Account credits are a balance stored on your GigaGlobe account that can be used toward future invoices. Here's how they work.
How Credits Are Added
- Overpayment — If you pay more than the invoice total, the excess is added as credit.
- Refund to credit — Cancelled services may be refunded as account credit instead of a payment reversal.
- Promotional credit — Occasionally, we issue promotional credits as part of special offers.
- Downgrade credit — Prorated amounts from service downgrades are applied as credit.
- Add Funds — You can manually add funds to your account under Billing > Add Funds.
How Credits Are Used
Credits are automatically applied to new invoices. When an invoice is generated, the system checks your credit balance first and deducts what it can before charging your payment method for the remainder.
Checking Your Credit Balance
- Log in to the client portal.
- Your credit balance is displayed on the Dashboard or under Billing > Add Funds.
Tip: Adding funds to your account in advance can be useful for budgeting or if you want to prepay for services.
Note: Account credits are non-refundable to your payment method and can only be used toward GigaGlobe invoices. Credits do not expire.
