Failed Payment Troubleshooting

0 Was this answer helpful?

Payment failures can happen for various reasons. Here's how to identify and resolve common issues.

Common Reasons for Failed Payments

  • Expired card — Your credit card has passed its expiration date.
  • Insufficient funds — Not enough balance on the card or in the PayPal account.
  • Card declined by issuer — Your bank has blocked the transaction (often due to suspected fraud).
  • Address mismatch — The billing address doesn't match what's on file with your card issuer.
  • International transaction block — Your bank may block charges from international merchants.
  • Daily transaction limit — You've exceeded your card's daily spending limit.

How to Resolve

  1. Check that your card details are correct under Billing > Payment Methods.
  2. Verify the card hasn't expired and has sufficient funds.
  3. Contact your bank to authorize the transaction or remove any blocks.
  4. Try an alternative payment method (different card, PayPal, or bank transfer).
  5. Retry the payment from Billing > My Invoices by clicking on the unpaid invoice.
Important: If your payment fails repeatedly and the invoice becomes overdue, your services may be suspended. Contact our billing team if you need assistance or additional time.
Tip: If your bank is blocking the transaction, ask them to whitelist charges from GigaGlobe or our payment processor.
