If you have a domain registered with another provider, you can transfer it to GigaGlobe for centralized management and potentially better renewal rates.
Before You Begin
- Your domain must be at least 60 days old (ICANN requirement).
- Your domain must not be within 15 days of expiry.
- The domain must be unlocked at your current registrar.
- You need the EPP/Authorization Code from your current registrar.
Transfer Steps
- Unlock the domain at your current registrar and obtain the EPP code.
- Log in to the GigaGlobe client portal.
- Navigate to Domains > Transfer Domains to Us.
- Enter your domain name and the EPP authorization code.
- Complete the payment — transfers include a one-year renewal extension.
- You'll receive a transfer confirmation email — click the approval link.
- The transfer typically completes within 5-7 days.
Important: Do not change your DNS or nameservers during the transfer process. Your website and email will continue working on existing settings until the transfer completes.
Once the transfer is finished, you'll receive a confirmation and can manage the domain entirely from the GigaGlobe client portal.
