Registering a domain name is the first step to establishing your online presence. A domain is your website's address on the internet — it's how customers find you.
How to Register a Domain
- Log in to the client portal and navigate to Domains > Register a New Domain.
- Enter the domain name you want in the search box (e.g., mybusiness).
- Select the extension you prefer (.com, .net, .org, etc.).
- Click Check Availability to see if the domain is available.
- If available, click Add to Cart.
- Choose your registration period (1-10 years) — longer registrations often get a discount.
- Optionally add ID Protection to keep your personal details private in WHOIS.
- Review your order and proceed to checkout.
- Complete the payment using your preferred payment method.
Tip: If your preferred .com domain is taken, try variations or alternative extensions like .net, .co, or .io. You can also register multiple extensions to protect your brand.
Once registered, the domain is yours for the chosen period. You can manage its DNS, nameservers, and other settings from the client portal under Domains > My Domains.
