Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password.
- Log in to the client portal.
- Navigate to Account > Security Settings.
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
- Install an authenticator app on your phone if you don't have one:
- Google Authenticator (iOS/Android)
- Authy (iOS/Android/Desktop)
- Microsoft Authenticator (iOS/Android)
- Scan the QR code displayed on screen with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app to verify the setup.
- Save the backup codes in a secure location — these can be used if you lose access to your authenticator app.
Important: Store your backup codes securely. If you lose your phone and don't have backup codes, you'll need to contact support to regain access to your account.
Once enabled, you'll be asked for a verification code each time you log in. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
