apartment About GigaGlobe

We built another registrar because the old ones were getting away with it.

Renewal-price gotchas. Hidden privacy fees. Support that takes 48 hours to misunderstand your question. We left the industry, looked at it from outside, and decided to do it differently.

Our story

Started 2021. Profitable since year two.

Three of us — a developer, an SRE, and an ex-hosting-company CSM — were complaining about our shared host for the hundredth time. We did the math. Built a proof of concept. Took on twelve friends as beta customers. Six months later we were running their domains and hosting at a margin that worked.

Today we run domains and hosting for ~14,000 customers across 38 countries, with a team of 22 — including 11 engineers and 7 support people, all in-house, all on-call. We're profitable, growing, and have no outside investors. We answer to our customers.

What we believe

Five principles, no asterisks.

price_check

The price you see is the price you pay

No introductory rates, no renewal hikes, no surprise upsells in the cart. The number on the product page is the number on the invoice.

lock_open

Privacy is not an upsell

WHOIS privacy is free on every TLD that allows it. We don't sell your data, we don't hide it behind a paywall, and we don't make you opt in.

support_agent

Humans on every ticket

No offshore L1. No scripts. The person who answers your ticket can actually fix the problem — or pull in the person who can within minutes.

code

Built for builders

SSH on every plan. APIs for everything. Documentation that reads like it was written by someone who has used the product.

trending_up

You can leave

Your domain is yours. We unlock and provide the EPP code on request, no questions. Your data is exportable. Lock-in is not a strategy.

eco

Run things responsibly

100% renewable electricity match. Published carbon report. Hardware refurbished, not landfilled. Boring stuff that adds up.
