Viewing Server and Account Information

DirectAdmin provides detailed information about your server environment and account resources. This information is useful for troubleshooting, verifying PHP settings, and monitoring your resource consumption.

Accessing System Information

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
  2. Navigate to Account Manager or System Info & Files.
  3. Click on System Information or Server Information.

Server Details

The system information page displays the following details:

  • Operating System - The Linux distribution and kernel version running on the server.
  • Web Server - Apache, Nginx, or OpenLiteSpeed version.
  • PHP Version - The active PHP version(s) available for your account.
  • MySQL/MariaDB Version - The database server version.
  • Server Uptime - How long the server has been running since its last restart.
  • Server Load - Current CPU load averages.

PHP Information

To view detailed PHP configuration:

  1. Look for a PHP Info or phpinfo() link in the system information area.
  2. This displays the full PHP configuration including loaded modules, memory limits, upload limits, and enabled extensions.
  3. Use this page to verify that specific PHP extensions your application needs are enabled.
If you need a PHP extension that is not currently enabled, contact our support team and we can enable it for your account or server.

Resource Usage Summary

Your account summary shows real-time usage of:

  • Disk space used versus your quota.
  • Monthly bandwidth consumption.
  • Number of email accounts, databases, FTP accounts, and domains in use.
  • Number of subdomains and domain pointers configured.
If any resource reaches its limit, new resources of that type cannot be created until you upgrade your plan or free up existing resources.
