Addon domains allow you to host multiple separate websites on a single hosting account. Each addon domain functions as its own independent website.
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Navigate to Account Manager > Domain Setup.
- Enter the domain name you want to add.
- Click Add.
- Update the new domain's nameservers to point to your hosting server (listed in your welcome email).
- Upload website files to the directory created for the new domain.
Important: The domain must be registered first (either with us or another registrar) before you can add it as an addon domain. The nameservers must point to our servers for the site to load.
Tip: Each addon domain gets its own directory, email accounts, and can have its own SSL certificate. Check your hosting plan's limits for the maximum number of addon domains allowed.
Need to remove an addon domain? Go back to Domain Setup and click the remove option next to the domain.
