After purchasing a hosting plan, your account is typically activated automatically within minutes. Here's what to expect.
- Complete your hosting order and payment.
- You'll receive a Welcome Email within 5-15 minutes containing:
- Your DirectAdmin control panel URL and login credentials
- FTP/SFTP server address and credentials
- Nameserver addresses for DNS configuration
- Server IP address
- Log in to DirectAdmin using the provided credentials.
- If you registered a new domain, update its nameservers to point to our servers.
- Start uploading your website files or install a CMS like WordPress.
Note: DNS propagation can take up to 24-48 hours after changing nameservers. During this time, your domain may intermittently resolve to the old or new server.
Tip: While waiting for DNS propagation, you can access your site using the server IP address or the temporary URL provided in your welcome email.
