Every hosting plan comes with allocated disk space and bandwidth. Understanding these resources helps you manage your hosting effectively.
Disk Space
Disk space is the total storage available for your website files, emails, databases, and logs. This includes:
- Website files (HTML, images, videos, downloads)
- Email messages and attachments
- MySQL databases
- Server logs and backups
Bandwidth (Data Transfer)
Bandwidth is the amount of data transferred between your server and visitors' browsers each month. High-traffic sites or sites with large files use more bandwidth.
Monitoring Usage
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Check the Account Summary on the dashboard for current usage.
- Review detailed statistics under Statistics or AWStats.
Warning: If you exceed your allocated resources, your site may be temporarily suspended or slowed down. Upgrade your plan before reaching your limits to avoid interruptions.
Need more space or bandwidth? You can upgrade your plan at any time from the client portal under Services > Upgrade/Downgrade.
