Customizing Your DirectAdmin Appearance
DirectAdmin supports multiple skins (themes) that change the look and feel of the control panel. You can switch between available skins to find the interface that works best for you.
Changing Your Skin
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Navigate to Account Manager.
- Click on Skin (or Appearance).
- Browse the list of available skins.
- Click on the skin name or preview to select it.
- The interface will reload with the new skin applied immediately.
Available Skins
GigaGlobe servers typically include the following skins:
- Evolution - The modern default skin with a clean, responsive layout. Recommended for most users.
- Enhanced - A classic skin with a traditional panel layout and icon-based navigation.
- Power User - A minimal skin designed for advanced users who prefer quick access without visual clutter.
The Evolution skin is the most actively maintained and provides the best experience on both desktop and mobile devices. We recommend using it unless you have a specific preference.
Skin Features
Depending on the skin you choose, you may have access to additional customization options:
- Color schemes - Some skins offer light and dark modes or color accent options.
- Layout options - Choose between sidebar and top-bar navigation styles.
- Dashboard widgets - Rearrange or toggle visibility of dashboard components.
- Language selection - Change the interface language from the same settings area.
Changing your skin only affects your own account view. It does not impact other users on the server or change any website settings.
